“Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else ever thought.” – Albert Einstein
Welcome to Shower Thought!
The page “Shower Thought” began as a space for me to explore and share the curious questions that often pop into my mind during quiet and reflective moments in the shower. I’ve always been insightful of my surrounding behavior and often would wonder why people think and act the way they do. As I pondered through these questions, I realized I wanted answers to my curiosity and questions. This led me to create a website where I could share answers to why our brains or people’s behaviors work the way they do.
As I researched deeper into questions on behavior, I discovered that many of my questions could be explained through cognitive psychology. The more I researched, the more I realized how psychological phenomena impacted the way we think, behave, and interact with the world. My original concept was to answer personal thoughts I formed in the shower but now it is fascinating to see how my question is linked and is able to be answered through psychological phenomena.
Over time, my blog evolved into two different sections:
- Cognitive Psychology – A category where I explore cognitive psychology and delve into the scientific explanations behind our thoughts and actions.
- Mental Health – A space dedicated for caring, where I support and encourage those going through tough times through comforting writings. Here, I aim to create a safe space that reminds everyone they are enough and that their feelings are valid.
The page started as a simple way to document my thoughts during a shower has grown into a blog that expresses my interest in psychology with a desire to help others. Whether you’re here to uncover the science behind human behavior or to find a moment of comfort, I hope Shower Thought offers something meaningful for you.
